学校简介

长沙理工大学1956年建校，经过60多年的发展，现已建设成为以工为主，多学科协调发展，具有鲜明的交通、电力、水利、轻工等行业特点的多科性大学。学校现有金盆岭、云塘两个校区，设有22个教学学院、1个独立学院和1个继续教育学院，现有全日制在校学生41000余人，其中博士、硕士研究生6500余人。已为行业和区域经济社会发展培养了40余万高级专门人才。是国家“中西部高校基础能力建设工程”高校、首批全国“创新创业典型经验高校”50强、湖南省“国内一流大学建设高校”（A类）。

学校广泛开展国际合作交流，先后与美国、英国、法国、加拿大、俄罗斯及港澳台等20多个国家和地区的90余所高等院校和科研机构建立了交流与合作关系。具有招收和培养来华留学生资格，是中国政府奖学金来华留学生培养单位。学校与黑山大学、利比里亚大学、沙巴大学分别合作共建孔子学院。

我们的国际教育

长沙理工大学自1999年起具有招收和培养国际学生资格，自2007年成建制招收国际学生以来，我校国际学生规模增长迅速。近年来，国际学生国别来源数增长到 60余个，年招生规模达200人，是“湖南省来华留学生和港澳台学生工作先进单位”。

形成了以学历教育为主、长短期汉语言培训为辅的多种类、多层次综合培养体系，学历教育涵盖了本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生。培养形式包括中国政府奖学金生、国际中文教师奖学金生、校企合作生、校际合作生、自费生等。优势专业包括土木工程、交通工程、电气工程、水利工程、机械工程、食品工程、工商管理等，均可用中、英文授课。
